Puppy Playgroups
On sunday mornings a qualified behaviourlist runs our "playgroups" for puppies. We encourage the whole family to come along and join in.
The puppy must be fully vaccinated before attending the classes.
Classes are free to clients of the practice.
Julie Moss has been working closely with the practice since 2003. As well as having her own business as a animal behaviourist Julie works most saturdays as a Receptionist at the surgery. click here to see Julie Moss's Website.
Wellpet Club
Our Wellpet Club gives you a way to save money on the cost of veterinary consultations for your pet.
After the payment of a very reasonable annual membership fee your pet will be entitled to free consultations for a whole year!
This does not include medications, surgical fees, visit fees etc but covers the charge made for the professional consultation with a veterinary surgeon.
Special deals are available for multi-pet households - ask for more details!
Free Food Delivery
In order to offer this service we deliver at specified times but are happy to leave purchased food in a specified location by prior arrangement. Just ask at reception for more details..
Nurse Consultations
For a nominal fee our nurses can offer help and advice on pet care. We have a team of qualified and student nurses who can help you to do your best for your pet.
Advice can be given on flea and worm control, feeding, microchipping, vaccinations, dental care, neutering, grooming, exercise, pet insurance, training and much, much more.
Pet Collection and Home Visits
We have a practice van that is used by the nurses to collect pets and bring them to the surgery for veterinary treatment. We also try to accommodate home visits when requested by owners. These visits have to be scheduled around the appointments and operations at the surgery. We do our best to come out to your home when requested.

Car Park
We have a car park for our clients at the back of the building. This means that you don't have to struggle with street parking and makes your visit to the surgery safer.

In house services
We have a fully equipted operating theatre, preparation area and radiography zone on the premises. These are maintained to a very high standard.
We offer many in house services that include-:
- ultrasound
- radiography
- endoscopy
- ECG work ups
- haematology and biochemistry blood analyers - for accurate same day results
- urine analysis
- microscopy
- blood pressure montioring
These are all diagnostic tools that our vets use routinely.
We also routinely use two external labratories: one for for more in depth and specific blood tests and the other to carry out histopathogy on tissue samples removed from your pet.
