Services In Detail
Our Loyalty Card is proving very popular with our clients.
Every time you spend ten pounds with us a point is added to your card.
When your card is full you can claim ten
pounds off selected products and services
from the practice, please speak to a member
of staff for further information.
Puppy Playgroups
On sunday mornings a qualified behaviourlist runs our "playgroups" for puppies. We encourage the whole family to come along and join in.
The puppy must be fully vaccinated before attending the classes.
Classes are free to clients of the practice.
Wellpet Club
Our Wellpet Club gives you a way to save money on the cost of veterinary consultations for your pet.
After the payment of a very reasonable annual membership fee your pet will be entitled to free consultations for a whole year!
This does not include medications, surgical fees, visit fees etc but covers the charge made for the professional consultation with a veterinary surgeon.
Special deals are available for multi-pet households - ask for more details!
Free Food Delivery
Within Rossendale we will deliver food orders over five pounds to your house.
Just pay over the telephone using a credit / debit card and we will arrange to bring the food to you.
In order for us to be able to offer this service we regret that we can only deliver within specified times.
Wellpet Nurse Consultations
For a nominal fee our nurses can offer help and advice on pet care. We have a team of qualified and student nurses who can help you to do your best for your pet.
Advice can be given on flea and worm control, feeding, microchipping, vaccinations, dental care, neutering, grooming, exercise, pet insurance, training and much, much more.
Computerised records
This means that we have easy access to your pet's records and can store all the relevant information on their condition.
Pet Collection Service
We have a practice van that is used by the nurses to collect pets and bring them to the surgery for veterinary treatment.
A small charge is made for this service.
Please contact the surgery for more information.
Diagnostic laboratory
We have a good range of laboratory equipment which means that we can quickly test blood, urine, look at skin samples etc.. In some situations we send samples to an outside laboratory but many tests can be carried out on site with results very quickly available.
Out Of Hours Service
When the surgery is closed our telephones are answered by a dedicated pet emergency clinic based at Bury.
ARMAC has vets and nurses on duty throughout the night to offer a high standard of veterinary care to your pet at any time.
When you ring our emergency number your call will be diverted to ARMAC.
Convienient consultation times and opening hours
We realise that many of our clients cannot attend during the day or even during the week.
For this reason we offer appointment times late into the evening and over the weekend.
We also endeavour to make appointments as soon as possible, dependant upon the degree of urgency of course.
Car Park
We have a car park for our clients at the back of the building. This means that you don't have to struggle with street parking and makes your visit to the surgery safer.
X-ray machine
This is used in many different circumstances to take images of your pet's body. It isn't just used for looking at broken bones!
We have a machine which develops images quickly and to a high quality.
The vet may need to show you x-ray images of your pet in certain circumstances.
Team of enthusiastic and caring nurses
Our nurses continue to develope their skills and training to ensure that the pet receives the highest standard of care
